Beritabali.com, Denpasar. Consulate General of India Bali in collaboration with the organizing committee of PAFILA BALIPHEX 2017 re-launched the Ramayana Commemorative Stamp issued by the Department of Post in India, on Saturday (18/11/2017) at the Bajra Sandhi Monument, Denpasar. 
 
This stamp edition was launched by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd September 2017 in the historic Tulsi Mana Temple, Varanasi. He siad that Ramayana finds a special place in Indonesia especially among the people of Bali and hence it is significant that the Government of India thought it fit to re-launch it in Bali.

Then, The Consulate General of India, Bali used the occasion of BALIPHEX 2017 to launched Ramayana Commemorative Stamp.
 
The night of BALIPHEX was held in Bajra Sandhi Monument, Renon for the re-launch of the Ramayana Commemorative Stamp which was attended by Secretary General of Indonesian Philatelists Association, Head of Pos Indonesia Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Head of Bali Communication and Information Office. 
 
The Indian Culture Centre on this occasion, presented a short cultural performance by presenting a Ram Bhajan, a prayer in praise of Lord Rama written by the renowned Indian Poet Tulsi Das in the sixteenth century in Sanskrit. The prayer Shri Ramachandra Kripalu glorifies Lord Rama. The Indian Culture Centre also presented another performance on Lord Rama in which his mother Kaushalya expresses her gratitude for receiving Lord Rama as her son.
 
On the occasion the Consul General expressed his happiness at being able to perform the re-launch of the Ramayana Commemorative Stamp in Bali and thanked the organizer for giving the Consulate the opportunity and the platform to be able to do so. 
 
The Consul General remarked on the impact that the epic Ramayana had on the daily life of the people of Bali and hoped that the stamps, apart from being a collector’s item for the philately experts and enthusiasts in Bali, will also attract the attention of the Balinese people in general.
